I didn't realize this while making the video, but this short is actually a meditation on evolution, and the arguments surrounding it. I mean, we've got Man, Ape, and Science, all sitting around (Science being the most abivilant), arguing about who's better. Well the answer is obvious: I'm better.
This piece was cobbled together from 3 separate takes, masked and time-stretched in After Effects, with the audio tracks being composited in Audition. I made it primarily as an excuse to try out my new boom mic setup, which exceed my expectations.
Intersetingly, the monkey mask I'm wearing was inadvertantly stolen from the DSU Drama Club. Sorry Drama Club. If you want the mask back, please drop me a comment and I'll get right on that.
